Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) operates as a global manufacturing specialist that provides design, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly services from over 425 facilities in 44 countries across 5 continents, catering to both emerging and developed market customers. The Company began as a silver trading business in 1975 before entering automotive manufacturing in 1983 and will complete its 50-year milestone in 2025.

SAMIL is recognised as India’s largest auto ancillary and one of the world’s top 15 automotive suppliers. Its growth model rests on three core strategies: organic expansion, strategic alliances with global technology leaders, and acquisitions. It operates across five simplified business segments, each with dedicated COOs and CFOs to ensure group synergy.

The Company’s portfolio includes wiring harnesses, interior and exterior polymer modules, rear-view mirrors and camera-based systems, and integrated cockpit/front-end assemblies. It also has emerging businesses in elastomers, lighting, electronics, aerospace, logistics, health and medical, precision metals, modules, technology, and industrial solutions.
