GTL Infrastructure Limited (GTL Infra) is an IP-1 registered telecom infrastructure provider that builds, owns, operates and maintains passive telecom sites on a shared basis for multiple operators. The Company enables telecom service providers (Telcos) to host active network equipment and transition from a capex-heavy to an opex-based model, optimising cost and efficiency.

 

Incorporated on February 4, 2004, GTL Infra has played a pivotal role in India’s telecom growth story and is recognised as a pioneer of the tower-sharing model. It holds the distinction of being the first independent telecom tower company in India to be listed on the stock exchanges.

 

The Company’s core services include:

  • Telecom Site Ownership & Maintenance across multi-technology networks (2G/3G/4G/5G and enterprise use-cases).
  • Energy Management Services, covering technical audits, energy source optimisation and renewable integration, provided under agreements with major Telcos.

GTL Infra’s operations are entirely domestic, with no international activities and 0% exports. It owns telecom towers across all 22 telecom circles in India, covering 28 States and 5 Union Territories, and operates through 21 offices nationwide.

Its major customers include:
Bharti Airtel Limited, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, and Vodafone Idea Limited.
