What is UPI?

A real-time payment method, Unified Payments Interface is a mode of payment that enables you to transfer funds 24/7 between bank accounts with a limit of up to Rs. 5 lakhs. UPI is the brainchild of National Payments Corporation of India and it is considered a safe mode to transact without having to reveal sensitive banking details.
